I have never been around one of these planes but it seems that for military needs and uses, this plane has few, perhaps no equals. With that said, imagine if one of these was converted to a fire fighting water tanker. With it's huge storage bay, just imagine the water load it could easily carry and with it's wide wings providing massive lift, the precision that it could deliver that water with. Water weighs 8.3 lbs a gallon. I cannot say if its bay completely filled to capacity with water would exceed it's weight carying capacity or not I welcome comments, or even corrections.

If I remember right. I think the C5 can turn 360 on a dime. I believe I saw it with my father at Lackland Air Force base. Other than that beautiful plane love, seeing them fly. Especially over my house for landing Approach.
